India – the land of religion, the land of culture, the land of love. What better way to explore this land of diversities than to visit the land of the Hindu God Krishna, one of the most widely worshipped and popular gods in Hindu mythology. Experience the aura of the Lord – a brother, a son, a charioteer, a disciple, a guru, a messenger, the lover of Radha, the orator of the Bhagavad Geeta – his teachings unmatchable, his glory unsurpassable.

Day 1

Begin your journey by exploring Vrindavan, the place associated with Lord Krishna’s childhood, his youth and his love interests. Visit some of the beautifully constructed and well known temples of the place – the ISKCON Temple, the Banke Bihari Temple and Shri Radha Raman Temple.

Post lunch, visit the famous Prem Mandir, a temple constructed entirely out of marble. It’s a beautiful example of architectural excellence devoted to Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha, and celebrates their love and devotion towards each other.

Day 2

After breakfast, advance towards Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Visit the Krishna Janam Bhumi (birthplace) – a temple complex built around the prison cell where the Lord was born. Next, make a stop at the Radha Kund where Sri Krishna washed off his sins at the insistence of his beloved, Radha.

Then, advance towards Agra, the city of the lovely Taj Mahal.

Post lunch, you shall visit the eternal symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. Spend time exploring and admiring the beauty of this magnificent monument. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse of the grandeur, extravagance and love story of the emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Enjoy the Mohabbat-e-Taj, an excellent theatrical show that takes you through the journey of the Taj.

Day 3

Begin your day by visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a beautiful city adjacent to Agra. Emperor Akbar founded this city in 1569, only to abandon it in 1585. Learn the enchanting history of this ghost city in a half-day tour.

Return to Agra and visit the grand Agra Fort, and then attend another light and sound show at the fort to bring your day to a beautiful conclusion.

Day 4

Keep this day reserved for some local shopping and leisure. Chat up with the locals and explore shopping arcades and markets to collect some beautiful artefacts, handicrafts and memories.
